A beautiful sunny day, clear, and not too hot; made just the perfect day for this striking, delightful and thoughtful wedding I had the privilege of photographing. It was splendid to meet remarkable people like Meredith and Evan! The Boca Raton Resort Hotel was one witness of their “First Look”. What a First Look!!! How spontaneous can a bride be… making this day, her day, the way it is supposed to be…Just Magnificent. A bride always looks astonishingly beautiful, let’s be honest it is HER day, what do you expect; but, what I see through my lens and what I try to do (and I take my job very seriously), is to capture that glow I call the “Love Glow”. I saw it when Meredith was getting ready and could not wait to see Evan. Oh, and the bridesmaids…crying as they were seen beauty at work! We can ask Evan…He was speechless! I would also like to add that the ring bearer has been the most handsome and youngest of them all. Jared, a six-month-old cutie!!!
The resort was full of beautiful scenarios. The Addison, where the ceremony and the reception captured every emotion of this sensational event, in this elegant and yet cozy place that had the sensation of warmth all over. Oh!!! How can anyone forget sweet, little dog, dressed in special gowns for the ceremony. I thought that the veiling ritual, the Badeken, was not only delicate and loving but of great sensibility and connection between Evan and Meredith who filled the yellow room with it.
The signing of the Ketubah, their Marriage Contract, was signed by the bride and groom and their witnesses. The Rabbi was so very nice to accompany them, not only through the ceremony, full of joy, but also during the blessings the rest of the celebration, the bread, the wine….and even during the dancing for the bride and groom.
The Chuppah, the ceremony, with the weather in our favor, was flawlessly outdoors. It was under a beautiful canopy, with white covers, and flowers that looked so bright and beautiful. The guests were able to see the ceremony, followed by many blessings and a beautiful water fountain in the back that witnessed, as we all did, Meredith walking around Evan several times, Evan giving Meredith his ring, Kiddushin, His intent of creating a marriage, followed by Evan breaking of the glass to a final Mazel Tov!
During the reception and spontaneity, Evan sang from his heart a song to his now wife “My first, my last, my everything! You go, Evan! Finalizing this exciting list of events, the much in love couple left with beautiful sparklers send off.
