GROTTA PALAZZESE IN POLIGNANO A MARE BA, ITALY LINDSAY + STEVE

Lindsay and Steve wanted something other than a traditional, large wedding at home in Charlotte, North Carolina. They asked their wedding planner, Lisa Pleasant, about more intimate options, with an adventurous twist. They wanted to say “I do” in a place that felt out of this world. Lisa guided them to the beautiful Puglia area in Italy.

Their chosen locations combined the old world with a modern flair, bringing to life the timeless beauty of the historical structures and the ethereal vibes of the Adriatic Sea. From the rehearsal dinner at the Masseria Salamina the night before, the getting ready at Polignano a Mare city, to the ceremony in the Grotta Palazzese, to end in the nearby villages of Alberobello, Ostuni, and Monopoly that we explored for a Rock the Dress session the following day.

We had a wonderful time with Lindsay and Steve in Italy. We shared many laughs and made happy memories; As we walked through forgotten streets, ran through fields, and braved rocky terrain along the Adriatic sea. 

​

We also interacted with many pleasant locals who were happy to meet and greet the newlyweds. We even ate wedding cookies given to us by a shop owner who invited us to climb onto her roof for the best views of Alberobello.
​
Every second of this destination wedding was the experience that they sought at the start of their biggest adventure yet—marriage! We wish them the very best in all of their adventures to come!
