Lindsay and Steve wanted something other than a traditional, large wedding at home in Charlotte, North Carolina. They asked their wedding planner, Lisa Pleasant, about more intimate options… with an adventurous twist. They wanted to say “I do” in a place that felt out of this world. This is when Lisa guided them to the beautiful Puglia area in Italy.
Their locations combined old world with modern flare. From the rehearsal dinner at the Masseria Salamina the night before, to the ceremony in the Grotta Palazzese, to the nearby cities of Alberobello, Ostuni and Monopoly that we explored for a Rock the Dress session the following day—this wedding brought to life the timeless beauty in the historical structures and the ethereal vibes of the Adriatic Sea.
We had an amazing time with Lindsay+Steve in Italy. Many laughs were shared and happy memories were made. We walked through forgotten streets, ran through fields, and braved rocky terrain along the Adriatic sea. We interacted with many nice locals who were happy to meet and greet the newlyweds. We even ate wedding cookies given to us by a shop owner who invite us climb onto her roof for the best views of Alberobello city.
Every second was the adventure that the two of them sought in the start of their biggest adventure yet—marriage! We wish them the very best in all of their adventures to come!
